Latium Legal Talent — bilingual legal talent for U.S. law firms

About Latium: by an attorney, for attorneys.

We’re a recruiting firm founded and owned by a practicing attorney. We find bilingual legal professionals for U.S. law firms, and we look for the people we’d want in our own office.

What makes us different

We’re a recruiting firm owned by an attorney, founded by an attorney, for attorneys. We know what you want in a hire, and we know what you need. We know what it takes to run a law firm, and what it takes to support attorneys and paralegals day to day.

We’re in the legal industry every day, so we know what you deal with: the phones that don’t stop, the deadlines, the Spanish-speaking clients who need answers, the files that can’t sit. That’s why we’re well placed to find the right person for you.

We’re not a standard recruiting firm with high turnover, just pushing résumés through. We look for the people we would want in our own businesses.

What that means for your firm

  • Personally interviewed. Each candidate is personally interviewed before they reach your shortlist.
  • Matched to your role. You tell us the duties, schedule, software, and how much legal experience the role needs. We look for fit, not just a résumé.
  • You decide. You interview the shortlist, choose who to hire, and hire them directly.

Meet our founder

Roberto Vazquez, founder of Latium Legal Talent

Roberto Vazquez, Esq.

Founder, Latium Legal Talent

Roberto Vazquez is a practicing Florida attorney in Orlando, focused on personal injury and civil litigation. He began his legal career as an intern and paralegal before becoming an attorney, so he knows firsthand what attorneys and paralegals need. A member of The Florida Bar since 2012, he runs his own law practice and knows what a firm needs from the people who answer its phones and keep its files moving.

Roberto earned his law degree from Barry University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Latium grew out of his own search for bilingual support staff.

How we work with your firm

  • Reference checks. We check references before a candidate reaches your shortlist.
  • Your systems, your rules. Placed professionals work in your systems, under your supervision. When you request talent, you can require work only on firm-provided accounts and devices, or completion of your security or HIPAA-style training.
  • Supervised support roles. Placed professionals work in supervised, non-lawyer support roles and never give legal advice. Under ABA Model Rule 5.3, your firm remains responsible for supervising non-lawyer assistants. Foreign-trained lawyers are not licensed in the U.S. and are placed only in support roles.
  • Before you hire. Please don’t share client names, case details, or other client information on our forms or with candidates before you hire.

About the name
